Suspect Caught On Camera Before Breaking Into Maryland Garage, Vehicle: Police

A suspect was caught on camera moments before breaking into a garage and vehicle in Maryland, according to police who are seeking clues on his identity.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Friday.

The burglary occurred on the 2000 block of University Boulevard in Wheaton around 10:50 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, Montgomery County Police said.

The suspect was caught on surveillance footage walking up to a home and knocking on the front door. He then entered the garage and approached a car parked inside before breaking one of its windows, stealing property, and fleeing.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 18 and 20 years old with a thin build, an average height, and brown eyes, police say.

He was last seen wearing a dark gray beanie, a blue trench coat, a white rosary necklace and black and white shoes.
